So I stupidly got myself stuck in a crap ton of mud and I called This company and I was NOT disappointed he was here in under ten minutes and didnt rip me off. I will be posting this family owned and operated company every where. Thank you so much for being fast and affordable!!!! John is a sweet kind man.....and a plus was my grandson enjoyed every moment of watching the tow truck!

I called Payne in the middle of the night with a car stuck in the snow. They were incredibly responsive on phone and text, gave the exact ETA of getting to my location, did quick work towing the car and were very compassionate in every interaction. My car ended up needing repair work and they helped me coordinate those logistics every step of the way. John (the owner) went above and beyond with this. And his sons were truly incredible throughout a very stressful situation. I will always be grateful to you all!

Very fast service. Told me to stay warm inside while he put the car up. Most friendliest service I have ever received from a towing company. Great conversation as I started them lol I HIGHLY recommend while others tried to rob me as I am female. Not once was I ever uncomfortable and John was an angel. Also did not mind me having my little dog and she liked him from the start. That says a lot about a dog. 10 stars

It was a Godsend to have Payne towing in the middle of a blizzard with electric car out of juice. Once we got home he waited to see if it would charge, but the 12 volt battery was dead. So he charged it and helped me until everything was taken care of well. Above and beyond, really nice.

A very stressful and potentially dangerous situation led to a surprisingly pleasant evening. Car died with my newborn and I stranded 45 minutes away from home. These guys were so comforting and professional that it made it seem like an adventure rather than the not great night it could have been. Thanks guys!

I was stuck in the mud, way down a grassy hill in a driving rainstorm, a close friend recommended Payne Towing. My van was sideways and precariously close to a very steep embankment, I was very worried! These guys came out within 30 minutes and expertly pulled out my loaded up 2021 Sprinter van, with precision, out of the mud ruts, turned it, got back up the hill, and saved the day! Payne picked up at 12:30am on a Saturday morning when nobody else would. We settled on a fair price to pick me up near Goshen and take me the 60 or so miles home. I’m very grateful to these guys! GEICO was of ZERO help to me and nobody was willing to pick me up and take me anywhere other than their yard.

These guys got us sorted out when we were in a hell of a fix. Sunday, 31st of August, 2025, Labor Day weekend when nothing is open, Payne not only towed us out of a difficult location, they also drove us to a local hotel. We live in Alabama, know no one in the area, and again EVERYTHING was closed. The owner was the one that showed up and was just all around a good guy. I would invite this bunch to dinner if I lived nearby. Highly recommend!

These Guys the real deal . Got stranded on the 17 taking my niece to college. It was Sunday and nothing was open, other guys were hanging up the phone on me left and right. I started believing I was going to be stuck on the side of the road , 3 hours away from my destination.. I finally took a chance and gave Payne towing a call and from the moment I spoke to John I knew I was in good hands. Solid guy , Solid customer Service, Solid response time. The truck came in 20 minutes flat and they took me to get a spare tire all for a reasonable price. Even checked on me after to see if I made it on the road and back home. With Payne Towing , it’s doesn’t just feel like a transaction, it feels like family. Highly recommend.

Landed in a bad ditch they got me out with two trucks and still charged cheaper then everyone else does for one truck. on top of that they gave me a free ride to the mechanic and back to my house. would highly recommend to anyone in need of towing who’s upstate❤️

John’s awesome, helped me completely through and suggested a great place that will repair my car completely, paynes was the only company that was answering there phone so thank god for them! Hit a deer and they were able to get to me as soon as possible. Suggest them if you need you car to be towed.

John and Justin are good guys. They were getting gas at White Lake gas station. I had a flat tire and the donut had a hole in it. They gave me a free tow and ride home.

I was traveling to West Point with my son for a gymnastics meet on Rt 17 late Thursday night when I hit a crater of a pothole that flattened my left front tire. I rolled off 17 into the nearby Robert Green Chevy dealer parking lot. There I discovered my Volvo had no spare, and AAA had no tow operator even open. I was worried. My son found Payne Auto on Google and I called -John Payne answered.. I explained my dilemma- John said to leave the car there and he would come get us in his wrecker and take us to a local hotel. Th next day John arranged to have a buddy of his tow my car to the Volvo dealer in Wappingers Falls where I was able to get it fixed so I could drive home that night. I owe John a debt of gratitude for helping us in a tough situation - a gentleman and a company I would highly recommend!

Couldn’t make it up an icy hill on a driveway. The truck came extremely quickly and the owner was very nice. I was on the road in a fraction of the time I thought it would take.

I hit a dear called my insurance company and they couldn't get ahold of anyone so I called Payne auto toeing and they picked me up dropped my car off at a repair shop and where all around helpful Justin was my driver and brought me home.

This towing company are our saviors. After experiencing a traffic jam that left our car damaged—John pulled up without being called. He was passing by and offered to assist us because he wants to continue to keep people and the roads safe especially during the holiday weekend. We damaged our car, got picked up, and dropped off at the nearest car rental in under one hour. John was a delight to talk to during a stressful time and truly cares about his field and customers.
